French President Emmanuel Macron thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian people for the warm welcome he

received during the tour, which President El-Sisi accompanied him on Sunday evening, to Khan El-Khalili in Cairo.




Macron said in a post on his official Twitter account: "Thank you to His Excellency President El-Sisi and the Egyptian people for this warm welcome."




Macron added in the post, which he published in Arabic and French: "This enthusiasm, these flags, and this energy befitting Khan El-Khalili: a vibrant tribute to the friendship between Egypt and France."
